A 4-disc compilation boxset called Thirty Years of Maximum R&B released in 1994 is also available. 79 classic recordings, many of them remixed and sounding better than ever before, including 14 previously unreleased tracks, 14 live performances, other Who rarities, commercials, stage and studio dialoque plus a rare glimps into life with the Moons. Includes 72 pages of photographs, memorabilia, full liner notes, a Who diary, full discography and foreword by Pete Townshend. 26 tracks 126:31. Friday 29 November 2019. Saturday 30 November 2019. Sunday 1 December 2019. Songs in album The Who - Thirty Years Of Maximum R&B CD1 1994. The Who - Pete Dialogue Live At Long Beach Arena, 1971 Previously Unreleased. The Who - I'm The Face As The High Numbers. Thirty Years of Maximum R&B. John Swenson. Chris Charlesworth, the author and archivist who assembled Thirty Years of Maximum R&B, had other ideas. Charlesworth gambled on a daring formula in which The Who Sell Out is more fully represented than Tommy, and Quadrophenia has no more entries than Who Are You. A spectacular live version of Bargain from 1971 and two additional live cuts from 76, Dreaming From the Waist and My Wife, cap the case for Moon as rocks most anarchic drummer. The 2 12 hour 1994 homevideo, Thirty Years of Maximum R & B Live released in conjunction with the 4-CD boxset of the same name, is a smorgasbord of The Who in full flight concert mode, from their early years to their 1989 reunion. Buy: Thirty Years Of Maximum R&B. TRACK LIST. Most of the 79 tracks, bar those recorded with Shel Talmy, were remastered andor remixed. The package was extremely well received by critics. Maximum R 'n' B - Maximum length DVD. Absolutely stunning collection of performances & as a seasoned Who Live fan, it does them good justice. Very good purchase & worthy of the band. 0 out of 5 stars Very good for some great live performances across the years. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 14, 2015. Format: DVDVerified Purchase. Very good for some great live performances across the years, and the sound and picture quality is very good. Read more. One person found this helpful. Live highlights from The Who, spanning 25 years of life on the road. Added to Watchlist. This videoDVD contains a lot of fantastic snapshots of The Who's performance history. The footage and sound are superb considering the sources they came from. As most Who fans know, the performances get less spontaneous and turn into arena rock once Keith Moon dies. Personally, I can't stand the '79, '82, and '89 shows that are in the video. Nevertheless, they are part of the history and are represented well. What this film does not tackle is the personal lives of the four members. The Who. Released 1994. Thirty Years of Maximum R&B Tracklist. Pete Dialogue 1 Lyrics. Substitute Live At Leeds Lyrics.
