The track features Balinese gamelan-inspired bronze instruments we built based on a 6-tone scale of our own devising. A pair of jegogan and pemade, one cengceng, and a reyong set with acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums and vocals.
"When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind."

The Observatory is the second and final studio album by Cadet, released the album on October 8, 2002 through BEC Recordings. Cadet worked with producer, Christopher Stevens, in the production of this album. Tony Cummings, rating the album a nine out of ten at Cross Rhythms, writes, Classy pop rock with. The Observatory's sixth album, Oscilla, is described by the band as the imagined swing of our imperfect times, featuring vibrations of shifting rhythms, synth bass space, oscillators and abused guitars. The four songs on Oscilla were developed on a tour with Norwegian noise band MoE in Norway in 2012 and Italy in 2013, then tested on the road during a Southeast. Produced by The Observatory and MoE. Co-produced by Lasse Marhaug. Mixed and mastered by Lasse Marhaug. The Observatory - a name that seemingly implies passive objectivity, but which really describes a band whose musical output is an impassioned response to the society it is enmeshed in, a society divided, a society in tumult - where new forms of oppression must be actively met with new strategies for resistance. The heart and soul of The Observatory is in its constant reinvention. With each release, the members have persisted in their experimental take on the pop songform. is at The Observatory North Park. 17 hrs San Diego, CA, United States . We are officially SOLD OUT tonight. This winter, moe. is bringing its Festival to Colorado for the first time, touring around some of the most notable mountain towns in the country. MOE is given some dubious information about the moon from Gilbert, maybe a place beginning with the letter O can give him a closer look. MOE visits album ends with Part 6 by Lasse Marhaug, an apt closing piece by a friend and collaborator who encouraged us to get this out in the first place. Mankind came out on a split 12 single with MoE, a noise-rock band from Norway. The same track has been tweaked a little for this release. The Observatorys music is texturally complex and viscerally emotional, crossing wasted borders and musical extremities that parallel polarities within human existence, provoking and inspiring in a deeply enigmatic way.
