By the beginning of the '80s, vocalist Maria Muldaur would have gotten to the end of her rope with her big-time Warner Bros. contract, finding nothing there but the hollowed-out remains of music once every single interesting aspect has been excised. This album was cut when this process had just gotten underway, and on this album one still finds the dominate energy to be a kind of communal give and take between the songstress and her fellow musicians that harks back to her days in the Jim Kweskin Jug Band. From her 1978 album, Southern Winds. Written by Bill Champlin. Текст песни: Hank Williams sang it, Number 3 drove it Chuck Berry twanged it, Will Faulkner wrote it Aretha Franklin sold it, Dolly Parton graced it Rosa Parks rode it, Scarlett O. chased Muldaur is the 1973 debut studio album of musician Maria Muldaur.
