I can only chime in harmoniously, and echo the justified praise. This is a spectacular record. Self assured, loud, invigorating, exerting pressure with its menacing approach, beefed up & nasty drums, raw attitude and pure techno ferocity. I never managed to obtain the full Red Seal catalog, and there are records of theirs I can live without, but this was a spectacular statement of intent. This was my first encounter with the duo's output, and what an introduction it was. A sound I craved for but was not aware of its existence. These guys have done plenty music and rocked plenty dance floors with their no-nonsense incinerating performances, and while the Red Seal catalog is replete with quality tunes, from my own point of view, their finest hour is here, rubbing shoulders with the Nuccle vs. H "Nerve Hammer" release that came a bit later.

Along with a few choice selections from their Black + White sublabel, and the ballsy 1994 three tracker they dropped back in 1994 on the Stay Up Forever stronghold, and I might have created a quick guide to my favorite works of theirs. That does not mean that I, or you for that matter, stopped there. But this is the one that really stuck with me. The track titles are very indicative of what you can expect to hear, but push me against a barbed wire, and I'd single out WWIII. This is an aural spark to a hedonistic revolution. Propulsive, raucous, joyously unrestrained and enthusiastic despite an overall harsh, hard and piercing drive. Undeviating intent. Case hardened analog loops, driven by neck snapping drums and strident supplementary sound trickery to make those hair raising moments at four A.M. all the more intense and extreme.

I am glad to see that I am not alone on this, but this record was one of the major game changers for me. Only to think Mike Humphries and J. Nuccle are are still here over two decades later still representing and pushing their vision of pure, true to the core elements techno. In retrospect, although technically being an ouverture, this is also one of the center crown jewels of their repertoire.
