The CORE@50 Conference, to be held at UCL in Louvain-la-Neuve from May 23 to May 27, 2016, will be the centerpiece of CORE’s 50th anniversary celebrations. It will feature
The award of UCL Honorary Doctors (DHC) degrees to three distinguished former CORE members, Profs. Marc Fleurbaey (Princeton), Michel Goemans (MIT) and George Nemhauser (Georgia Tech).
Four plenary lectures given by the three DHC recipients and by Prof. Victor Chernozhukov (MIT).
Eight Core Scientific Sessions on Social networks, theories and methods; Personal income tax; Integer non-linear optimization; Corporate income tax; Financial constraints, Productivity, and growth; Cooperation and resource sharing for supply chain management; Computational challenges in energy; and Environmental and natural resources economics.
